In my vision of small one’s party (or really any party) I saw lots and lots of flowers.
That’s great, in theory.
I would actually have the house FILLED with flowers all year round regardless of a party happening.
When the garden is in bloom I fill every vase and corner with flowers and herbs and greenery.
But I had a January girl and unless I pretend I’m Beyonce and Jayzee, I’m not going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers.
I would if I could but I can’t.
How about copious amounts of sugar?
How about a bouquet of sugar?
I started with blunt end craft sticks (little kids were going to be putting their mouths on them and the stick itself sort of freaked me out) and tied pink ribbon 1/3 of the way down.
Then came the sugar layers; white marshmallow, pink jelly hear, marshmallow, red heart and finally white marshmallow.
Dab a little pink, icing button on the top.
Put in a pretty jar or vase and think of the spring when flowers surround us all.
In the meantime, these are pretty cute, never wilt and the little kids loved them FAR more than any blooms (so did the adults)

How cute Jane! Looks like you had an awesome party! Happy birthday to your daughter.
We had a great time but now she thinks we should have a pink party every week C:
These are too cute!!!
